A small slice of work from weddings across Greater Vancouver — from Stanley Park to Swaneset Bay, from misty mornings to firework send-offs.
I'm Frank Wang — a Vancouver wedding and engagement photographer with over a decade of experience and more than two hundred weddings behind me. My style sits between honest photojournalism and timeless portraiture: genuine expressions, beautiful colour, and lighting that does the work quietly.
I believe every couple has their own love story. My job is to translate it — to make sure when you flip through your photographs in ten or twenty years, your hearts are touched by the precious memories, not the staging.
Every image you receive has been hand-edited, one at a time. No batching, no presets you didn't sign up for. Just the day, the way it was.
Three wedding collections to suit different days, different stories, and different budgets. Engagement, portrait, and event pricing available on request.
All collections include travel within Greater Vancouver. Destination weddings priced on request. — Ask about current seasonal promotions.
"Frank is an amazing photographer. He was quick and precise, used simple directions so we looked our best, and I am incredibly happy with his work. Truly gifted — worth his weight in gold."Monaco & Charlie · Vancouver
"Frank made us feel completely at ease. The photos are honest, warm, and exactly the day we lived through. We didn't realise how much we'd treasure them until we held the prints."Recent client · Stanley Park wedding
"Ten out of ten. Easy to work with, prompt with the gallery, and the editing is on another level. Half our family asked for his number after they saw the album."Recent client · Swaneset Bay

My work sits between wedding photojournalism and traditional portraiture — genuine expressions, beautiful colour, and lighting that flatters without feeling staged. I want you to look back and remember the moments, not the posing.
Yes — every image you receive is hand-edited, one at a time. No bulk batches, no mass-produced presets. A few favourites also get extra attention above and beyond the standard edit.
It depends on guest count, hours of coverage, and types of events. The Signature collection typically delivers 600+ images on average; intimate weddings closer to 300+; multi-day and destination weddings can exceed 800.
Web-optimised galleries go live within two weeks of the wedding date in a private, password-protected online gallery. Full-resolution files are mailed home shortly after on USB.
Honestly, no — to be fair to every couple, dates are booked first-come, first-served on a signed contract and deposit. If you're considering me, the kindest thing for both of us is to lock it in.
Yes. Travel within Greater Vancouver is included; destinations outside the Lower Mainland are priced on request. I've photographed weddings across BC and abroad.
If we need to extend past the booked hours, I have a clear overtime rate that only kicks in with your approval on the day. You'll see the additional hours on the final invoice after the wedding — no surprises.
The earlier the better — peak Vancouver dates (May through October) book out 12 to 18 months in advance.
